Minnesota's Teresa Puga has been named the Big Ten Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced on Wednesday. Puga tied for 12th at the Mountain View Collegiate, helping the Gophers to a fifth-place finish in the team standings.

Purdue leads the conference contingent, holding No. 4 nationally in this week's rankings. Michigan State sits at No. 22 this week, followed by No. 31 Ohio State, No. 38 Minnesota and No. 41 Northwestern. The Big Ten also boasts three individual golfers ranked in the top 50, with 19th-ranked Laura Gonzalez-Escallon earning the highest ranking of the trio.

Reto and the seventh-ranked Boilermakers broke multiple school records at the Administaff Lady Jaguar Invitational. The sophomore finished second at the event, helping Purdue to a first-place finish in the team standings.
