USA Track & Field announced today that the University of Illinois women's head track and field coach Tonja Buford-Bailey was nominated to serve as an assistant coach for Team USA's track and field squads for the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England.For the third time in her career, she will assist Team USA at an international competition with her focus being on the sprints/hurdles for the women's team.

WINDR T/F: National USTFCCCA Rankings

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Wednesday the fourth weekly update of the NCAA Division I National Team Rankings for indoor track & field. Michigan leads the conference, jumping 27 spots to land at No. 13 while Indiana fell one spot to earn a No. 25 national ranking.

The conference office announced on Monday the weekly women's indoor track and field awards with Michigan's Rebecca Addison earning Track Athlete of the Week honors and Michigan State's Beth Rohl and Minnesota's Samantha Sonnenberg winning Field Athlete of the Week accolades.

WINDR T/F: Three Teams Land Spot in National Poll

Three Big Ten teams decorated the latest edition of the USTFCCCA Indoor Track and Field national poll, announced Tuesday. Penn State leads all conference programs, moving up a spot from last week to No. 19. Indiana checks in at No. 20 in this week's poll, while Ohio State takes the No. 25 spot.

 

The conference office announced on Monday the weekly women's indoor track and field awards with Penn State's Shavon Greaves earning Track Athlete of the Week and Ohio State's Ashley Galbraith winning Field Athlete of the Week accolades.
