Three Big Ten women's soccer standouts represented the conference on the U.S. U-20 Women's National Team. Illinois' Vanessa DiBernardo and Penn State's Maya Hayes and Taylor Schram won gold in the U-20 World Cup on Saturday in Tokyo, Japan. The trio helped the U.S. to a 1-0 victory over Germany in the title match.
