Through Friday, the Big Ten will highlight each of the 22 student-athletes nominated for the conference’s Jesse Owens Male and Suzy Favor Female Athlete of the Year Awards. Award winners are voted on by a pre-selected media panel and will be announced live on the Big Ten Network’s season-ending awards show on Monday at 6:30 p.m. CT.

MEGHAN DUGGAN – WISCONSIN – ICE HOCKEY
The winner of the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award, Duggan led the Badgers to their fourth NCAA title. A first-team All-American, she was also named the USA Hockey Bob Allen Women’s Player of the Year, the NCAA Frozen Four Co-MVP and the WCHA Player of the Year. Prior to leading Wisconsin to the national championship, she won a Silver Medal with Team USA at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver.
