PARK RIDGE, IL, August 3, 2004 - The Big Ten Conference and CollegeSports.com have launched BigTen.org (www.BigTen.org), the official site of the Big Ten, today. The new site will feature a larger collection of live and on-demand video and audio offerings, a new conference events calendar, and streamlined navigation throughout the site enabling Big Ten fans to access their favorite information more quickly. "The launch of the new BigTen.org site, heading into the coming fall sports season, will give our national alumni and fan base greater access to their favorite teams and student-athletes," said Big Ten commissioner James E. Delany. "We are taking advantage of emerging technologies to create features and applications that will enable fans to remain informed and connected regarding Big Ten athletics."

  • Ability for fans to sign up to receive the Big Ten electronic newsletter, keeping them abreast of the latest news from the Conference, its schools, sports and student-athletes
  • Access to wireless scores and updates from throughout the Big Ten
