Big Ten Announces Hiring of Jade Burroughs

Park Ridge, Ill. - Big Ten Commissioner James E. Delany announced the hiring of Jade Burroughs as Associate Director, Branding. Burroughs will manage the day-to-day aspects and execution of the conference's marketing initiatives, oversee the Big Ten's brand identity standards and coordinate the roll-out of the new Big Ten mark with member institutions and conference partners. She began her role at the conference office on July 27. Burroughs comes to the Big Ten from Game Seven Marketing where she served as a senior account manager for Nike Basketball. She produced and executed Nike Basketball East events, campaigns and initiatives. Prior to Game Seven Marketing, Burroughs was a Nike Basketball account manager at 94x50 where she was a project manager for the 2010 World Basketball Festival at Rucker Park in New York. A 2006 graduate of Lehigh University with a bachelor's degree in marketing, Burroughs began her professional career as a sponsorship coordinator with The Gazelle Group. Active in her native hometown of Palmyra, N.J., Burroughs was an assistant youth track coach with the Triboro Track Club from 1999-2009.
