Big Ten Sports Properties
Big Ten Sports Properties is the multimedia rights holder for The Big Ten Conference. The Big Ten Conference is an association of 12 world-class universities whose member institutions share a common mission of research, graduate, professional and undergraduate teaching and public service. Big Ten universities provide approximately $120 million in direct financial aid to more than 9,500 men and women student-athletes who compete for 25 championships, 12 for men and 13 for women. The league relationship is a natural fit for Learfield Sports as the company already represents eight of the twelve current Big Ten schools including Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Northwestern, Purdue, Penn State and Wisconsin. The long-term relationship charges Learfield Sports with delivering impactful, strategic corporate partnership initiatives for the Big Ten Conference through media, corporate hospitality, presenting sponsorships of select championships and tournaments, venue exposure, branding opportunities and product sampling.
