PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Dickerson picks up his first weekly award of the season and the fourth in his career after leading Indiana to a 4-2 record last week. The junior hit .393, reached base at a .452 clip and slugged at a .786 mark, combining for an OPS of 1.238. He also scored seven runs and drove in nine, racking up multiple hits in four games and multiple RBI in three. The outfielder tallied two doubles and three home runs, including a two-homer effort against Dartmouth on Saturday. Dickerson’s first home run of the week broke a tie in the 10th inning against UMass on Wednesday, proving to be the game-winning score. The Poway, Calif., native leads the Big Ten with four home runs this season and also ranks among the conference’s top 10 in slugging (.554) and RBI (15).

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Brown earns Pitcher of the Week accolades for the first time in his career after leading Iowa to an 11-2 win over Notre Dame on Friday. The junior tossed seven scoreless innings, allowing just four hits without issuing a walk. The right-hander also struck out three en route to his second win of the season. Brown ranks among the Big Ten’s best in opponents’ batting average, allowing the opposition to hit just .230 against him this season.

CO-FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Thomas Lindauer, Illinois
2B, Moline, Ill. / Moline
Lindauer earns Illinois’ first Freshman of the Week accolade, batting .429 in two wins for the Fighting Illini last week. The freshman stepped in at second base for the final two games of the team’s spring trip and went 3-for-7 with three runs scored and a pair of RBI in victories against St. Louis and Southern Illinois. Lindauer provided the game-winning hit against the Salukis on Sunday, delivering a two-run single in the 12th to push Illinois to victory.

Windle garners Freshman of the Week honors after making his first career start and leading Minnesota to a 3-1 win against Sacramento State on Wednesday. The left-hander allowed one run on four hits without issuing a walk, also striking out five in five innings of work. Windle is 2-0 on the season and has given up just one earned run in his last nine innings, spanning three separate outings.
