PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Eric Wolfe, Purdue
SR, 1B, Toronto, Ontario/York Mills Collegiate Prep

Wolfe repeats as Big Ten Player of the Week as he batted .700 in Purdue's three-game sweep of Chicago State last week, which gave the Boilermakers their best season start (11-5) under head coach Doug Schreiber and best overall since 1993. The Purdue senior was 7-for-10 at the plate with six runs scored and three RBI, picking up at least two hits in each game. The senior scored the game-tying run in the first game of the series, forcing extra innings in Purdue's 5-4 win in 10. In game two, he was 2-for-3 with a double and scored three times, and was then perfect at the plate in the finale, batting 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Wolfe extended his hitting streak to nine games, seven of which have been multiple-hit games.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Dan Sattler, Purdue
JR, P, West Lafayette, Ind./Harrison HS

Sattler earns Pitcher of the Week honors after tying his career high of 10 strikeouts in a win last week over Chicago State. The junior right-hander pitched six innings without allowing an earned run, while limiting the Cougars to four hits.

This is Sattler's first career weekly honor from the conference office.
