Pitcher of the Week

John Dwan, Michigan State
P, Sr., Libertyville, Ill./Libertyville
Dwan secured the series win over Indiana in the fourth-game finale, allowing just three hits over seven innings to pick up his second win of the season. All three hits allowed were singles, and two never left the infield. After allowing back-to-back two-out singles in the first, the left-hander settled down to retire 18 of the next 21 he faced. The senior struck out three and walked just one without allowing a run as his ERA dropped to 2.90 on the year. This is Dwan's second career honor as he was also named Pitcher of the Week on April 11, 2006.
