BIG TEN CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Mims hit .455 (5-for-11) over the weekend, leading Iowa to a series win over Penn State. The senior started all four conference games and batted in five runs while scoring once.  The Hawkeye senior registered an on-base percentage of .500, while slugging at a .455 clip.

Eric Fryer, Ohio State
SO, C/1B, Reynoldsburg, Ohio/Reynoldsburg

Fryer led the Buckeyes with 10 hits in five games last week as he was 10-for-22 (.455) with a team-best six RBI and six runs scored.  He posted two doubles and his third home run of the season, while recording a slugging percentage of .682 and an on-base percentage of .455.  Fryer is now batting .398 and leads the team with three home runs and 34 RBI.

BIG TEN PITCHER OF THE WEEK
John Dwan, Michigan State

Dwan threw a one-hit, complete seven-inning shutout in Michigan State's lone win of the weekend over Purdue. The Spartan junior struck out six and walked only one, earning his first win of the season. Dwan was the only answer MSU had for the Boilermaker bats, who averaged over 11 hits in the other three games of the weekend combined, as Purdue rattled off 13 hits in game one, nine hits in game two and 12 hits in game four.
