Player of the Week
Jason White, Iowa
SS, Sr., Fort Collins, Colo./Rocky Mountain
White batted an astounding .611 (11-for-18) as Iowa took a four-game series from Illinois, 3-1, over the weekend. The senior racked up four home runs, nine RBI and scored nine runs as he slugged for a 1.444 mark and reached base at a .650 average. After going 3-for-5 in Game 1 of the series, White carried the Hawkeyes in Game 2, going 3-for-4 with three home runs for four RBI, including the walk-off shot in the bottom of the seventh. White was equally as impressive the next day in the series finale as he hit for the true cycle in a 4-for-6 performance where he scored four runs and drove in four. In all six of Iowa's games last week, the shortstop batted .538 (14-for-26) as he led the Hawkeyes to a 4-2 record. The award is the first of White's career and the second for an Iowa position player this season.

Pitcher of the Week
Craig Clark, Penn State
P, Sr., Phoenixville, Pa./Spring Ford
Clark tossed a complete-game, one-hit shutout as Penn State defeated Northwestern, 1-0, in Game 1 of a doubleheader on Saturday. The senior allowed just four base runners all game, only one of which advanced past first base. The left-hander struck out six in seven innings without issuing a walk, hitting one batter. Clark took a no-hitter into the fifth inning and faced just two over the minimum all game as he retired the last seven batters he faced. This is Clark's fourth career honor and his second this season. Clark is the third Nittany Lion pitcher to receive a weekly award this year as Scott Gaffney and Matt Ogrodnik have also been honored.
