Pitcher of the Week
Drew O'Neil, Penn State
P, So., Roswell, Ga./Blessed Trinity

O'Neil factored into two decisions as Penn State took three games from nationally ranked Michigan over the weekend. The sophomore tossed three innings of one-hit, scoreless relief in the second game of the series, striking out three batters as the Nittany Lions rallied in extra innings to give the sophomore a win. In the third game of the four-game set, the right-hander faced the minimum through two innings out of the bullpen, preserving Penn State's 5-3 lead. The save was his eighth of the year, breaking the old school season-single record, which was set in 1998. O'Neil is the fifth different PSU pitcher to receive a weekly conference award this season.

Last PSU Pitcher OTW: Seth Whitehill (5/7/07)
