• Batted .500 on the week, stole four bases, scored five runs and had three RBI in a series sweep of Penn State last weekend, accounting for multiple hits in the series opener and finale
• Went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run in the opener before going 3-for-4 in the series finale with two doubles, four runs scored and an RBI, while stealing two bases in each contest
• Also went 2-for-4 in a midweek contest against Central Michigan, doubling twice and driving in two runs
• Wins his first career Big Ten Player of the Week award

Pitcher of the Week
Alec Crawford, Minnesota

• Went eight innings on Friday against Indiana, scattering just three hits and helping Minnesota to a 2-1 victory in extra innings
• Surrendered just one earned run and helped hold the Indiana offense to only four hits on the night, its second-lowest of the season
• Tied a career high in innings pitched and allowed only two runners to reach third base
• Records his first career Big Ten Pitcher of the Week honor

Freshmen of the Week
Joe Hoscheit, Northwestern

• Batted .417 with two doubles and recorded two saves to help Northwestern take 2-of-3 on the road against Ohio State last weekend
• Collected his first career save in the series opener on Friday in just his fifth career pitching appearance
• Followed with a two-inning save to clinch the series victory on Saturday, allowing just one hit and striking out the final batter of the game
• Wins his first career Big Ten Freshman of the Week award
