Michigan Wins Big Ten Tournament Championship

Michigan edged out a close 3-2 victory against Purdue in the championship game of the 2008 Big Ten Baseball Tournament in Ann Arbor on Saturday night. The Wolverines will be the Big Ten's automatic qualifier to the 2008 NCAA Baseball Tournament. Game 1: Illinois 3, Ohio State 2 - Kevin Manson twirled a complete game and Joe Bonadonna hit a tiebreaking home run in the seventh to help Illinois rally past reigning champ Ohio State, 3-2, in the first game of the Big Ten Tournament.
