Minnesota's game at Ohio State on Friday was suspended due to rain, but the Golden Gophers still clinched a share of the Big Ten title with Penn State's win over Michigan. Minnesota earned the conference championship outright with a win over Ohio State on Saturday. The Gophers also clinched the top seed in the 2010 Big Ten Tournament on Friday, owning the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Wolverines.
The conference title is the 22nd in Minnesota program history and the team's first since 2004.
