Michigan State and Ohio State Open Big Ten Tournament With Wins

Ohio State scored nine runs in the eighth or ninth innings to defeat Penn State, 12-5, in Game 2 of the Big Ten Baseball Tournament. The Buckeyes advance to face top-seeded Purdue on Thursday night at 7:05 p.m. ET. The Nittany Lions will face Nebraska in an elimination game at 12:05 p.m., and Indiana will take on Michigan State at 3:35 p.m. RECAP & BOX SCORE

Michigan State held on to win an exciting opening game of the 2012 Big Ten Baseball Tournament, edging Nebraska, 10-9. The Spartans built a 10-2 lead entering the bottom of the ninth before the Huskers scored seven runs to make it a one-run affair. RECAP & BOX SCORE
