Indiana, Nebraska and Purdue Record Wins on Day 2 of Big Ten Tournament

Big Ten Player of the Year Kevin Plawecki hit a two-run homer that wrapped around the pole in left, leading top-seeded Purdue to a 5-4 victory over Ohio State in Game 5 of the Big Ten Tournament. The Boilermakers advance to play No. 2 Indiana on Friday at 7:05 p.m. ET, while the Buckeyes will face No. 4 Nebraska at 12:05 p.m. The winner of the Ohio State-Nebraska game will take on Michigan State at 3:35 p.m. RECAP & BOX SCORE (coming soon)

Indiana scored four runs in the eighth to erase a 4-2 deficit and beat Michigan State, 6-4, on Thursday evening in Game 4 of the Big Ten Tournament. The Hoosiers advance to play the winner of this evening's Purdue-Ohio State game, while Michigan State takes the field again on Friday at 3:35 p.m. ET. RECAP & BOX SCORE

Nebraska defeated Penn State, 12-3, in Big Ten Baseball Tournament action on Thursday, advancing to play Friday at 12:05 p.m. ET. Five Huskers had multiple hits in the game, including freshman Pat Kelly who went 4-for-5 with five RBI. RECAP & BOX SCORE
