Indiana Falls to Stanford 5-4 in Bloomington Regional Final
Stanford's Tommy Edman hit a game-winning two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning, giving the Cardinal a 5-4 victory over Indiana in the Bloomington Regional final on Monday night. The game was interrupted by a nearly three-hour long weather delay with the Hoosiers holding a 3-0 advantage in the top of the third inning. Stanford scored twice in the bottom of the third before tying the game in the sixth. Nick Ramos gave Indiana 4-3 lead in the eighth before Edman hit the walk-off winner in the ninth. The Hoosiers ended the season with a 44-15 record.
Indiana Faces Stanford on Monday With Super Regional Berth at Stake
Top-seeded Indiana will take on No. 3 Stanford in the Bloomington Regional final at 5:30 p.m. ET on Monday, with a trip to the Super Regional round at stake. Stanford rallied for a 10-7 victory on Sunday night, forcing Monday's `if necessary' contest. A win would send the Hoosiers to their second consecutive Super Regional and second in program history.

Hoosiers Drop 10-7 Decision to Stanford, Forcing Winner Take All Game on Monday
Stanford scored three runs in the eighth and ninth innings, changing a 6-4 deficit into 10-6 advantage, en route to a 10-7 victory over Indiana on Sunday night. The two teams will face off on Monday at 5:30 p.m. ET, where the winner will advance to Super Regionals. Scott Donley drove in two runs, while Casey Rodrigue and Tim O'Conner each scored two runs in the game.
Huskers' Season Ends With 4-3 Loss to Cal State Fullerton
Playing in a NCAA Regional for the first time since 2008, the 2014 Nebraska baseball season came to an end on Sunday at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium following a 4-3 loss to the Cal State Fullerton Titans. It was the second loss in the tournament to the Titans, after CSF won 5-1 in the opening round on Friday. Nebraska, who posted a 41-21 record in 2014, had the tying run in scoring position with two outs in the top of the ninth and Jake Placzek hit a line drive, but it was right at CSF second baseman Taylor Bryant for the final out of the game. The Huskers out-hit the Titans 8-5 on the afternoon, including a pair of hits from Austin Darby.
Indiana Looks to Punch Super Regional Ticket; Nebraska Eyes Two Wins Sunday
Indiana can secure a berth to next week's Super Regional with a victory at 6 p.m. ET on Sunday night against the winner of Youngstown State and Stanford, which will be played at 1 p.m. Nebraska looks to avenge a loss from their opening game of the NCAA Tournament against Cal State Fullerton at 1 p.m., where a win would send the Huskers into a 7 p.m. matchup with Oklahoma State. Travis, DeNato lead Hoosiers to 4-2 Win Over Stanford
Sam Travis hit a home run and Joey DeNato pitched 7.1 strong innings as Indiana topped third-seeded Stanford on Saturday night at Bart Kaufman Field, 4-2. DeNato, who improved to 13-1 on the year and set a new IU record for most wins by a pitcher in a single season, gave up two earned runs on six hits while striking out four batters. Travis was 3-for-5 on the night with two RBI, including his solo home run in the fifth. He now has 12 home runs and a team-leading 57 RBI this year. The Hoosiers will face the winner of Youngstown State and Stanford at 6 p.m. ET
Three-Run Ninth Gives Nebraska 8-6 win over Binghamton
Trailing 6-5 in the top of the ninth, the Husker offense scored three times to claim an 8-6 victory over Binghamton on Saturday afternoon in the Stillwater Regional. Nebraska advances to face the loser of Saturday evening's Cal State Fullerton-Oklahoma State on Sunday. Ryan Boldt, Steven Reveles and Michael Pritchard each had RBIs in the final frame, keeping the second-seeded Huskers' postseason run alive. Reveles, Pritchard and Blake Headley each ended the day with two RBI, while Zach Hirsch earned the victory after allowing two hits over 3.1 innings of scoreless relief.

Dustin DeMuth and Kyle Schwarber each had three RBI, while Schwarber and Sam Travis each hit home runs as the No. 4 Indiana Hoosiers opened NCAA Tournament play with a 10-2 victory over Youngstown State on Friday. Scott Effross earned his fifth win of the season and was buoyed by a Hoosier offense that had six runs through three innings and all 10 of its tallies through six. Indiana will face Stanford at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, after the Cardinal won their first game of the Bloomington Regional, 8-1, over Indiana State.
Grand Slam Propels Cal State Fullerton to 5-1 Win Over Nebraska
Playing in a NCAA Regional for the first time since 2008, the Nebraska baseball team (40-20) dropped a 5-1 decision to the Cal State Fullerton Titans (33-22) on Friday afternoon at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium. The game was a pitcher's duel for most of the day, with four of the game's six runs coming in the eighth inning. With the game tied 1-1 and the bases empty with two outs in the top of the eighth, the Titans loaded the bases and their No. 3 hitter J.D. Davis smashed a grand slam well over the left-field fence to put the Titans on top 5-1. The Huskers fall to the loser's bracket and will play tomorrow at 12:05 p.m. (CT) against the loser of tonight's game between Oklahoma State and Binghamton. TV coverage for tomorrow is yet to be announced.
Indiana, Nebraska Set to Begin Postseason Play
The 2014 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship gets underway this afternoon as Indiana and Nebraska will open postseason play.
