The Michigan baseball team's season ended on Sunday afternoon with a 12-6 loss to Kentucky in regional action of the 2008 NCAA Baseball Championship. The Wolverines out-hit the Wildcats, 16-12, and recorded seven extra-base hits on five doubles and two home runs.

In the final game of the day at the Wilpon Baseball Complex, home to Ray Fisher Stadium, Arizona defeated Kentucky, 5-3, to advance to super regionals.
