COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Junior captain Matt Angle delivered a clutch two-out, RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning as Ohio State stayed alive in the NCAA College Station Regional with a 6-5 win Saturday over Le Moyne at Olsen Field in College Station, Texas.

With runners on second and third and two outs in the bottom of the 10th, Angle (Jr., Whitehall, Ohio/Whitehall-Yearling) slapped a hit between the third baseman and the shortstop, bringing home J.B. Shuck (So., Galion, Ohio/Galion) with the winning run and eliminating the Dolphins (34-19). Full Story...

SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Freshman Derek McCallum (Shoreview, Minn.) delivered an RBI single to plate Kyle Baran (Apple Valley, Minn.) in the 10th inning to give the Minnesota baseball team (41-17) a 6-5 victory over fourth-ranked San Diego (43-18) in the NCAA Regionals on Saturday, June 2 at Tony Gwynn Stadium in San Diego, Calif. With the loss, the host Toreros were eliminated from the NCAA Regionals.

Minnesota will play Fresno State at 6:06 p.m. (CT) on Sunday, June 3. That game will broadcast live on ESPNU. It will also be broadcast on radio at KLBB (1220 AM). Full Story...

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Sophomore second baseman Kevin Cislo's (Novi, Mich./Novi) two-out, run-scoring infield single in the top of the ninth inning snapped a 3-3 tie, and sophomore 3B/RHP Adam Abraham (Grosse Pointe Park, Mich./South) -- who scored the winning run -- pitched the bottom of the ninth to record his second save of the season, as the University of Michigan baseball team defeated No.1-ranked Vanderbilt 4-3 in second round action of the 2007 Nashville Regional Saturday night (June 2) at Hawkins Field.

The win pushes the Wolverines (41-16) to Sunday's (June 3) regional championship game (7 p.m. CDT). U-M will face the survivor of Sunday's elimination game between host Vanderbilt (52-12) and Austin Peay (40-21). Full Story...
