Indiana is set to compete in the NCAA Super Regionals this weekend, as the Hoosiers travel to take on Florida State. It marks the first time since 2007 the conference has sent a team to the NCAA Super Regional round.
Indiana, winners of the Bloomington Regional last weekend, makes its first appearance in the Super Regional round. With a series win over Florida State, winners of the Tallahassee Regional, the Hoosiers would become the first Big Ten team since Michigan in 1984 to advance to the College World Series. Saturday’s game is slated for Noon ET and Sunday’s matchup is set for 1 p.m., with both games televised by ESPNU. If necessary, Monday’s game will begin at 1 p.m. on ESPN2.
Indiana and Florida State both went undefeated in their respective regionals last weekend. The Hoosiers defeated Valparaiso before taking down Austin Peay in consecutive games, while the Seminoles earned two wins against Troy and took down Savannah State.
