Indiana is set to compete in its first NCAA College World Series, becoming the first Big Ten team since Michigan in 1984 to advance to the season-ending event. Indiana will open the double-elimination event on Saturday, with the final two teams squaring off in a best-of three championship series, beginning Monday, June 24.
Indiana will open its College World Series slate against Louisville at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN, and will face either Oregon State or Mississippi State in its second game. The Hoosiers advanced out of the Bloomington Regional with a win over Valparaiso and two victories against Austin Peay before earning a spot in the College World Series with a two-game sweep of Florida State, in the Tallahassee Super Regional.
