GAME NOTES
The No. 3 seed improves to 5-7 in Big Ten Tournament (BTT) games, including a 4-3 mark vs. No. 6 seeds. Wisconsin improves to 8-6 in BTT games, including winning four straight, and 1-0 as a No. 3 seed. The Badgers also improve to 4-4 in quarterfinal contests and 6-5 in BTT games played at the United Center. Ohio State falls to 3-3 in BTT quarterfinal games and 8-7 overall in BTT contests. The Buckeyes also drop to 3-3 in BTT games played at the United Center. The No. 6 seed record falls to 12-6 in the eight years of the BTT.
Wisconsin advances to play Iowa in the semifinals tomorrow at 3:05 p.m. CST. The Badgers are 1-2 in BTT semifinal contests. Wisconsin downed Iowa in the only regular season meeting (72-69) in Madison on 2/9/05.
