Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State Earn Conference Recognition

Darius Morris led Michigan in two victories last week, helping the team to the program's first win over Michigan State in East Lansing since 1997, followed by the third triple-double in Michigan history against Iowa. For the week Morris averaged 14.5 points, 9.5 assists, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game while shooting 63.2 percent from the field. Against the Spartans, the sophomore tallied 17 points on 7-for-10 shooting with eight assists, four rebounds and a pair of steals. Three days later, the Wolverine posted 12 points, grabbed a career-best 10 rebounds and recorded 11 assists. Morris joins Gary Grant and Manny Harris as the only Wolverines in program history to record a triple-double. This marks Morris' second weekly award of the season.

Talor Battle - Penn State
Penn State's Talor Battle posted two 20-point games and surpassed 1,900 career points, leading Penn State in victories over Iowa and No. 17/15 Wisconsin last week. Battle averaged 22.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists while shooting 51.7 percent from the floor. The senior scored a game-high 23 points on 8-of-13 shooting in Penn State's 65-51 victory over Iowa. In the Lions' win against the Badgers, he logged 20 of his 22 points in the second half and scored 12 of Penn State's first 16 points of the second stanza to lead Penn State to a 56-52 victory. This marks Battle's first weekly award of the season and the second of his career.

Freshman of the Week
Ohio State's Jared Sullinger led the Buckeyes to a pair of wins last week over No. 12/12 Purdue and Northwestern, helping the team remain unbeaten on the season. For the week, Sullinger averaged 19.0 points and 7.5 rebounds a game. The freshman scored 17 points and had seven rebounds in Ohio State's 87-64 victory over the Boilermakers. He then scored 21 points with eight rebounds, including the winning free throw, in Ohio State's 58-57 win against the Wildcats. Sullinger connected on 58.3 percent of his field goals and recorded three assists and three steals while playing 65 total minutes without a turnover. The Columbus, Ohio, native earns his 10th Freshman of the Week honor.
