Park Ridge, Ill. - After the original allotment of general public tickets for the 2013 Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament sold out earlier this week, the conference office has made a limited number of additional all-session packages available to the general public. The Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament will be held at the United Center in Chicago from March 14-17.

Additional upper-level all-session tickets for the men's tournament may be purchased at Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or through the United Center ticket offices at 312-455-4668 or www.unitedcenter.com. These additional all-session tickets are located in the 300 level of the United Center and are available for $240. Orders are limited to eight all-session tickets.

In addition, a limited number of men's tournament packages are still available at a special discounted rate of $50 for all-session tickets available only to students of Big Ten universities. All students must have a valid student ID for entry. Student section seating will be available in balcony sections and orders are limited to one all-session ticket. Details on the student ticket program were sent to the university ticket offices for distribution directly to students.

The 2013 Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament returns to Chicago, which hosted the inaugural event in 1998 and on seven total occasions, most recently in 2007. Seven different Big Ten teams have been ranked among the nation's top 20 this season, including five programs currently among the top 25, more than any other conference. Michigan is currently the nation's top-ranked team in the Associated Press poll, joining current No. 3 Indiana as the second Big Ten school to appear atop the national polls this season. Illinois, Michigan State, Minnesota and Ohio State have also appeared among the top 10 this season, while Wisconsin has been ranked among the top 20.
