Wright averaged 29.5 points to lead Indiana to a pair of key victories this past week. He scored 19 of his game-high 27 points in the second half to lead the Hoosiers past Purdue, 79-62, and then notched a season-high 32 points in a 78-74 overtime victory over No. 10/9 Michigan State. In both games, Wright tallied five three pointers on 62.5 percent shooting (5-8) and went a combined 13-of-13 from the free throw line. He finished the week shooting 18-of-33 from the floor (54.5 percent) while also averaging 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Wright, who currently leads the Big Ten in scoring with 19.0 points per game, earns his sixth career weekly laurel.
