Player of the Week
JaJuan Johnson averaged 20.0 points, 13.0 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game last week to lead Purdue to a pair of road victories against Indiana and Michigan State. He shot 57.7 percent from the field for the week, making two of three attempts from long range and all eight of his free throws. Against Indiana, he scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while at Michigan State, the senior finished with 20 points, a career-high 17 boards and a tied his career best with seven blocks. The effort was Johnson's second with at least 15 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks this season. Prior to this year, no player had accomplished that feat in a Big Ten game since 2001. The Indianapolis, Ind., native moved into seventh place on Purdue's career scoring chart and broke into the top 20 of the program's single-season scoring list. This marks Johnson's first weekly award of the season.

Freshman of the Week
Michigan's Tim Hardaway Jr. earns his third straight weekly award after averaging 19.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 54.2 percent from the field and 60.0 percent from long range. Hardaway helped the Wolverines to a road win at Minnesota, leading the team with 22 points, marking his sixth 20-point game this season. Against Wisconsin, Hardaway scored 16 points, was 4-for-7 from long range, grabbed four rebounds and dished out three assists. The freshman has scored in double figures in his last 11 games. This marks Hardaway's fourth weekly award.
