Leuer claims the first Big Ten Player of the Week honor of his career after helping the Badgers clinch the No. 4 seed in this week's Big Ten Tournament. The junior averaged 19.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 blocks on 73 percent shooting in wins over Iowa on Wednesday and at Illinois on Sunday. The junior finished with 18 points, five rebounds, four assists and three blocks in Wisconsin's victory over Iowa, shooting 8-of-9 (.889 percent) from the floor, including 2-of-2 from behind the three-point line. Against Illinois on Sunday, Leuer shot 8-for-13 from the field, and was 4-for-6 from the stripe, finishing with 20 points to go along with four rebounds and two assists in the Badgers' win over the Illini.
