Halftime, Michigan State 33, Minnesota 30: After an entertaining first half, M heads to the locker room with a -point edge. Minnesota has shown no fatigue as of yet from having played a tough game yesterday afternoon and been right there with the top seed.

3:30 left, second half, Michigan State 56, Minnesota 46: Minnesota's time is running out for a comeback. The Spartans have done a nice job at maintaining their lead, not letting the Gophers put together any real runs here in the second half.
Final, Michigan State 64, Minnesota 56: Michigan State advances to tomorrow's first semifinal contest against the winner of the upcoming Ohio State-Wisconsin game. Besides the Big Ten Tournament title, the Spartans are still in the hunt for a no. 1 seed, especially with some of the losses in other conference tournaments this week. Minnesota will look to see if its resume is strong enough for an NCAA bid.
