The 69th annual Associated Press (AP) All-America Teams were announced on Tuesday, with Purdue’s Caleb Swanigan earning first-team honors and Wisconsin’s Ethan Happ claiming third-team plaudits.

Swanigan also earned the Big Ten Player of the Year award after pacing the conference with 18.9 points and 12.6 rebounds per game in conference games. The Boilermakers earned the outright Big Ten Championship and advanced to the NCAA Midwest Regional semifinals.

In conference play, Happ averaged 14.6 points per game, ranked fourth in the Big Ten with 8.6 rebounds per contest and for the second straight season, led the conference with 2.3 steals per outing. He earned first-team All-Big Ten honors. The Badgers advanced to their 19th consecutive NCAA Tournament and secured their fourth straight Sweet 16 appearance.
