Augustine shares Player of the Week honors after helping the Fighting Illini to a 2-0 record last week. He recorded his third double-double of the season and 19th of his career with 13 points and 13 rebounds at North Carolina on Tuesday as the Illini recorded their first road victory of the season with a win at Chapel Hill. Augustine then equaled his career high in scoring in the win over Xavier, erupting for 23 points, the most by an Illini player this season. He was 7-of-9 from the field in the victory, while adding a game-high seven rebounds and two steals. For the week, Augustine averaged a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds on a combined 73.3 percent shooting (11-of-15). The Mokena, Ill., native earns his third career Big Ten weekly accolade as he was also honored twice during the 2004-05 season (Jan. 10 and Jan. 31).
Marco Killingsworth, Indiana

Killingsworth claims his second career Big Ten Co-Player of the Week laurel after averaging 24 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while leading the Hoosiers to a 1-1 record last week. Facing the reigning National Defensive Player of the Year, Shelden Williams, and top-ranked Duke, Killingsworth went 15-of-20 from the field to tally a career-high 34 points, while adding 10 rebounds. His 15 field goals were the most scored in a game by a Hoosier since Andrae Patterson went 15-of-29 from the field against Duke in the Preseason NIT on Nov. 29, 1996. Killingsworth also became the first player to score 30 or more points against Duke since Nick Collison of Kansas on March 27, 2003. The Montgomery, Ala., native closed out the week with 14 points, three rebounds and three assists in a 79-63 victory over Eastern Michigan on Saturday.
