Davis earned Big Ten Player of the Week honors after tallying a season-high 20 points and a team-best eight rebounds to lead the Spartans to a 78-53 victory over Stanford in the CITGO Spartan Clash at the Palace of Auburn Hills last weekend. Davis shot 7-of-12 from the field (58.3) and 6-of-7 from the free throw line in 30 minutes of action, while adding one assist and one steal. He was MSU's leading scorer for the second time this season and broke the 20-point barrier for the 10th time of his career. Davis currently leads the Spartan squad with a season-average of 7.0 rebounds per game and ranks second in scoring (13.3 points per game). Davis earns his third Big Ten weekly laurel as he was honored on January 19, 2004 and February 2, 2004 of last season.
