The Big Ten and SEC held the second annual Diversity Developmental Clinic for football officials April 9-10 on the campus of Ohio State. The goal of the clinic is to invite a limited number of up-and-coming football officials for two days to develop officiating, communications and leadership skills.
The content was delivered by guest speakers, observers and successful active on-field officials, all with a complete understanding of how to help showcase the official’s abilities and enhance future opportunities in their officiating career. The first Diversity Developmental Clinic was held at Vanderbilt in 2016.
