With the college football season just around the corner, the Big Ten Conference is excited to welcome the nation’s best fans to Chicago for the 47th Annual Big Ten Football Kickoff Luncheon. This annual event is a tradition for faithful Big Ten football followers, signals the beginning of the much anticipated 2018 football season and the first step on the pathway to this year's Big Ten Football Championship Game.
The 2018 event will be held at the Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile located at 540 North Michigan Avenue, marking a return to downtown Chicago.
The 2018 Kickoff Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, July 24, beginning at 11:30 a.m. CT in the Grand Ballroom on the seventh floor. The action kicks off at 10 a.m. CT with an opportunity to get autographs from your favorite coaches and Hall of Famers in the Halsted Foyer on the fourth floor. Around 10:50 a.m. CT, fans can get group pictures of the Hall of Fame inductees, all 14 coaches and all 42 players in attendance. The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. CT and will feature highlight videos, interviews with coaches, players and Hall of Famers and much more, including door prizes highlighted by a free trip to the 2018 Big Ten Football Championship Game and the 2019 Rose Bowl Game.
Individual tickets or full tables to the luncheon will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, May 29. With the move to the Marriott Magnificent Mile, the capacity for the Kickoff Luncheon will be smaller than past years. We would strongly encourage you to place your order as soon as possible to ensure that your request is honored and you receive the best seat locations. Please note that there will now be 12 seats at each table this year, an increase from 10 seats in past years. Tickets are priced at $110 each, with a table seating 12 for $1,320. All attendees, regardless of age, must have a ticket for entry to both the autograph session and the luncheon. Click on the above link to submit your order for Kickoff Luncheon tickets.
Through the above link, fans have the opportunity to apply for tickets, and based on ticket availability your credit card will be processed shortly after your application has been submitted. As in the past, and with the growth of the event, ticket requests will be administered and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis only. A receipt of your request and confirmation of tickets will be sent via email, with the physical tickets mailed in mid-July. All ticket and table sales, if granted, are final.
