Through Friday, the Big Ten will highlight each of the 22 student-athletes nominated for the conference’s Jesse Owens Male and Suzy Favor Female Athlete of the Year Awards. Award winners are voted on by a pre-selected media panel and will be announced live on the Big Ten Network’s season-ending awards show on Monday at 6:30 p.m. CT.

GREG JONES – MICHIGAN STATE – FOOTBALL
Jones was one of just 10 players in the nation to earn unanimous first-team All-America selection and was the only repeat selection from 2009 to the 2010 AFCA and AP All-America teams. Jones was named to the All-Big Ten first team for the third consecutive year and earned the Governor’s Award as his team’s MVP. He was named a semifinalist for the Bednarik, Butkus and Lombardi awards and was a quarterfinalist for the Lott Trophy. Click HERE for more information on Greg.
