Eight Big Ten Teams Receive Votes in Preseason Coaches' Poll




Eight Big Ten teams received votes in the preseason Amway Coaches' Poll released this morning, including two among the top 10. Ohio State leads the way for the Big Ten and is ranked sixth overall after winning 12 games and claiming division titles in each of the last two seasons.

Defending Big Ten and Rose Bowl Game Champion Michigan State also cracked the top 10, ranking No. 8 after going 13-1 last season. Wisconsin follows at No. 14 and Nebraska rounds out the conference’s ranked contingent at No. 22. Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota and Northwestern all received votes in the first coaches’ poll of 2014.
