Offensive Player of the Week
Braxton Miller, Ohio State
So., QB, Huber Heights, Ohio/Wayne
• Had a hand in all five Ohio State touchdowns, including the game winning touchdown pass, to help the Buckeyes to a 35-28 win over California on Saturday
• Set career highs with 245 passing yards and four touchdowns on 16 completions, cemented by the victory-clinching 72-yard touchdown toss to Devin Smith with 3:26 to play
• Completed touchdown throws of one, three, 25 and 72 yards, while also rushing for 75 yards on 12 carries, including a 55-yard score
• Wins his first career Offensive Player of the Week award after winning two Freshman of the Week laurels last season

Defensive Player of the Week
Michael Mauti, Penn State
Sr., LB, Mandeville, La./Mandeville
• Totaled a team-high 12 tackles to help Penn State hold Navy to seven points in the Nittany Lions’ 34-7 victory on Saturday
• Finished with two tackles for loss for 26 yards, including a sack
• Part of a Nittany Lion defense that forced four turnovers, including one that resulted in a defensive touchdown
• Wins the second weekly award of his career

Special Teams Player of the Week
Jeff Budzien, Northwestern
Jr., PK, Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead
• Tied a single-game Northwestern record with a career-best five field goals, scoring 16 total points in the Wildcats’ 22-13 victory over Boston College last Saturday
• Connected on field goals from 42, 41, 29, 20 and 19 yards to record Northwestern’s first 15 points of the game
• Improved to eight-for-eight in field goal attempts on the season
• Claims his first Special Teams Player of the Week award

Co-Freshman of the Week
Nate Sudfeld, Indiana
QB, Modesto, Calif./Modesto Christian
• Came off the bench in the fourth quarter to throw for 172 yards and two touchdowns against Ball State, giving the Hoosiers the lead with less than a minute to play
• Connected on touchdown passes of 70 yards with 4:07 to play and two yards with under a minute to go, bringing Indiana back from a 13-point, fourth-quarter deficit
• Wins his first Freshman of the Week accolade
