Michigan 45, Eastern Michigan 17: Carlos Brown had a 90-yard touchdown run and a career-high 187 yards rushing to help No. 25 Michigan beat Eastern Michigan 45-17 Saturday.
Penn State 31, Temple 6: Evan Royster ran for 134 yards and a touchdown, and No. 5 Penn State revived its rushing attack in a 31-6 win Saturday over Temple.
Wisconsin 44, Wofford 14: Scott Tolzien threw for two touchdowns, Zach Brown ran for two more and Wisconsin blocked a punt for another in the Badgers' 44-14 rout of Wofford on Saturday to remain undefeated.
Ohio State 38, Toledo 0: Terrelle Pryor hooked up with Dane Sanzenbacher on two early touchdown passes and No. 11 Ohio State defused Toledo's high-scoring spread attack to beat the Rockets 38-0 Saturday at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
Iowa 27, Arizona 17: Freshman running back Adam Robinson rushed for a career-high 101 yards and two touchdowns and Iowa held Arizona to just eight first downs in a 27-17 victory Saturday, spoiling coach Mike Stoops's return to Kinnick Stadium.
Indiana 38, Akron 21: Ben Chappell threw two touchdown passes and Ray Fisher returned the opening kickoff 91 yards for a score in Indiana's 38-21 victory against Akron on Saturday.
Syracuse 37, Northwestern 34: Matt Kafka threw 35-for-42 for 390 yards, but a Ryan Lichtenstein field goal with no time remaining gave Syracuse a 37-34 win over Northwestern on Saturday.
Notre Dame 33, Michigan State 30: Jimmy Clausen threw for 300 yards and two touchdowns, including a 33-yarder to Golden Tate with 5:18 left to lead Notre Dame to a 33-30 victory over Michigan State on Saturday.
California 35, Minnesota 21: Jahvid Best wouldn't allow California's road curse to continue. Best rushed for 131 yards and a school-record five touchdowns to lift the eighth-ranked Golden Bears to a 35-21 victory over scrappy Minnesota on Saturday.
Northern Illinois 28, Purdue 21: Me'co Brown ran for 150 yards, and Northern Illinois beat Purdue 28-21 Saturday for its first victory against a Big Ten school since 1988.
