Northwestern 44, Indiana 29: Kain Colter put the team on his back in Northwestern's 44-29 win over Indiana on Saturday at Ryan Field, rushing for 148 rushing yards and four touchdowns. The teams went wild on the attacking side of the ball, racking up 1116 total yards combined.
Penn State 35, Illinois 7: Zach Zwinak and Matt McGloin teamed up to lead Penn State to a 35-7 victory over Illinois on Saturday at Memorial Stadium. McGloin passed for 211 yards, while Zwinak ran for 100 yards and two touchdowns.
Iowa 31, Minnesota 13: Iowa's Mark Weisman and James Vandenberg led the way in a 31-13 win over Minnesota on Saturday at Kinnick Stadium. Vandenberg racked up 192 yards through the air and Weisman rumbled for 177 yards and one touchdown on the ground.
Ohio State 17, Michigan State 16: Devin Smith was Braxton Miller's favorite target in No. 14 Ohio State's 17-16 victory over No. 18 Michigan State on Saturday at Spartan Stadium. Smith made himself available to Miller for two receptions and 79 yards. Andrew Maxwell kept the Spartans' offense on track, throwing for 269 yards and one touchdown on 22 of 42 passing.
Purdue 51, Marshall 41: Gary Bush hauled in eight passes, including three touchdowns, for a total of 98 yards in Purdue's 51-41 victory over Marshall on Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium. Despite taking the loss, Rakeem Cato gave the Thundering Herd a fighting chance thanks to a big game through the air. Cato threw for 437 yards and five touchdowns on 45-for-68 passing.
Nebraska 30, Wisconsin 27: Taylor Martinez accounted for two touchdowns passing and a third from the ground to rally No. 20 Nebraska from 17 points over Wisconsin, 30-27, Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
