Nebraska 44, Purdue 7: Ameer Abdullah ran for 126 yards and a touchdown to help Nebraska defeat Purdue 44-7 on Saturday. Terrell Newby ran for 61 yards and Imani Cross added 56 yards and two touchdowns for the Cornhuskers (5-1, 2-0 Big Ten).
Wisconsin 35, Northwestern 6: Melvin Gordon ran for a 71-yard touchdown, Chris Borland had one of his team's seven sacks, and Wisconsin figured out No. 19 Northwestern's high-octane offense in a 35-6 win Saturday.
Penn State 43, Michigan 40 (4OT): Bill Belton ran for a 2-yard touchdown in the fourth overtime to lift Penn State past No. 18 Michigan 43-40 in maybe the biggest win in coach Bill O'Brien's two seasons with the Nittany Lions.
