Michigan State 26, Illinois 6:Kirk Cousins threw a 48-yard touchdown pass to B.J. Cunningham in the third quarter, helping No. 13 Michigan State to its best start in more than four decades with a 26-6 win over Illinois on Saturday. Cousins finished 13 of 24 for 201 yards. Purdue 27, Minnesota 17:Rob Henry ran for 56 yards with three touchdowns and threw for 163 yards with one touchdown as the freshman from Ocala, Fla. led Purdue to a 28-17 victory over Minnesota (1-6, 0-2) on Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium. Purdue's scoring plays included Henry runs of four, two and three yards and a 20-yard touchdown pass from Henry to Antavian Edison. Indiana 36, Arkansas St., 34Ben Chappell threw for 382 yards and four touchdowns Saturday, rallying Indiana for a 36-34 victory over Arkansas State. The Hoosiers (4-2) ended a two-game losing streak with their fourth-straight win over a nonconference foe. Iowa 38, Michigan 28:Ricky Stanzi threw his third touchdown pass to Derrell Johnson-Koulianos early in the fourth quarter and Michael Meyer kicked a 30-yard field goal with 2:53 left, helping No. 15 Iowa hold off Michigan for a 38-28 win Saturday. The Hawkeyes (5-1, 2-0 Big Ten) led the Wolverines (5-1, 1-2) by three TDs early in the fourth quarter for the second time during the game. Ricky Stanzi threw his third touchdown pass to Derrell Johnson-Koulianos early in the fourth quarter and Michael Meyer kicked a 30-yard field goal with 2:53 left, helping No. 15 Iowa hold off Michigan for a 38-28 win Saturday.
