Northwestern teammates celebrate their dominance of Michigan State of Saturday.

Michigan 23, Iowa 20 (OT)
Chad Henne threw two touchdowns and Jerome Jackson's 1-yard dive in overtime lifted Michigan to a 23-20 victory over Iowa on Saturday, giving coach Lloyd Carr his 100th career victory and snapping the Hawkeyes' 22-game home winning streak.

The win also gave the Wolverines (5-3, 3-2 Big Ten) back-to-back wins for the first time this season - the longest it has taken Michigan to win two straight in any season since 1967 - and kept their Big Ten title hopes alive.  Full Story...

Northwestern 49, Michigan State 14
Northwestern quarterback Brett Basanez played part of his freshman year with a broken leg. Last season, he struggled with a shoulder injury.

The senior is relatively healthy this season. And it showed Saturday as he led surging Northwestern to a 49-14 victory over No. 22 Michigan State.

Basanez passed for 331 yards and two touchdowns and ran for two more scores to lead the Wildcats (5-2, 3-1 Big Ten) to their third straight win.  Full Story...

Ohio State 41, Indiana 10
All Ohio State wanted Saturday was a win on the road. The Buckeyes accomplished much more.

Troy Smith ran for two touchdowns and threw for another, the Buckeyes had a big game and a suffocating defense never gave Indiana a chance as No. 14 Ohio State produced its most lopsided win of the season, 41-10, to stay close in the muddled Big Ten title chase.  Full Story...

Wisconsin 31, Purdue 20
The Wisconsin Badgers' much-maligned defense picked up the slack for a surprisingly spotty offense and faulty special teams in a 31-20 win over Purdue on Saturday.

Safety Roderick Rogers returned an interception 84 yards for a touchdown that sparked No. 19 Wisconsin (7-1, 4-1 Big Ten), which became bowl eligible in coach Barry Alvarez's 16th and final season. Cornerback Jake Ikegwuonu added two interceptions, including a game-sealing pickoff that he returned 62 yards for a score with 3:21 left.  Full Story...

Penn State 63, Illinois 10
Michael Robinson has played wide receiver and running back, but there is no doubt he's as comfortable as could be as Penn State's quarterback.

Robinson threw four touchdown passes and ran for two more scores - all in the first half - leading the 12th-ranked Nittany Lions to a 63-10 rout of Illinois Saturday night. The win keeps the Penn State in a tie with Wisconsin for the Big Ten lead.  Full Story...
