Iowa 34, Michigan State 27: Freshman Jevon Pugh scored the go-ahead touchdown in double overtime and Drew Gardner, a seldom-used cornerback, stopped Michigan State's Devin Thomas on the ensuing fourth down to help Iowa beat the Spartans 34-27 on Saturday.
Purdue 35, Northwestern 17: Jaycen Taylor ran for a career-high of 157 yards and two touchdowns to lead Purdue past Northwestern 35-17 Saturday.
Illinois 28, Ball State 17: Illinois' ticket to the postseason came in a plain, brown wrapper, but after five seasons in the bowl wilderness, the Illini will gladly take it.
Michigan 34, Minnesota 14: Mario Manningham had five receptions for a career-high 162 yards and a victory-sealing touchdown early in the fourth quarter, helping No. 19 Michigan pull away with a 34-10 win over Minnesota on Saturday.
Ohio State 37, Penn State 17: Todd Boeckman threw for 253 yards and three touchdowns and Chris Wells ran for 133 yards, leading the Buckeyes to a 37-17 victory over No. 24 Penn State on Saturday night.
