Northwestern 17, Iowa 10: Dan Persa threw a touchdown pass and Marshall Thomas recovered a fumble for another touchdown, and Northwestern snapped No. 8 Iowa's 13-game winning streak with a 17-10 victory on Saturday. It was the first win over a top-10 opponent for the Wildcats (6-4, 3-3 Big Ten) since knocking off then-No. 6 Ohio State 33-27 in overtime in 2004.
Purdue 38, Michigan 36: Joey Elliott threw for a career-high 367 yards and two touchdowns, ran for a score and Purdue held on for a 38-36 victory against Michigan. The Boilermakers (4-6, 3-3 Big Ten) trailed by two TDs at halftime and rallied to end their 11-game road losing streak by winning at Michigan Stadium for the first time since 1966.
Wisconsin 31, Indiana 28: John Clay ran for 134 yards and a touchdown, Montee Ball scored two TDs and No. 24 Wisconsin held off Indiana for a 31-28 victory Saturday. Wisconsin (7-2, 4-2 Big Ten) ran for 294 yards and won its second straight.
Illinois 35, Minnesota 32: Terry Hawthorne returned an interception for a touchdown and Clay Nurse had four of Illinois' eight sacks to lead the Illini to a 35-32 victory over Minnesota on Saturday. Jacob Charest threw for 185 yards and a touchdown after replacing Juice Williams, who left in the first quarter with an injured left ankle. Illinois (3-6, 2-5 Big Ten) led 28-7 at halftime.
Michigan State 49, Western Michigan 14: Little-used Ashton Leggett ran for 110 yards and four touchdowns and Kirk Cousins threw for two scores to lead Michigan State past Western Michigan 49-14 on Saturday in a rare November non-conference game for the Spartans.
Ohio State 24, Penn State 7: Terrelle Pryor threw for two touchdowns and ran for another in his return to his home state, Ray Small burned No. 11 Penn State with two long punt returns and Ohio State (No. 16 BCS, No. 15 AP) won a duel of the league's top two defenses in a 24-7 victory Saturday.
