With the Big Ten regular season already concluded, Ohio State (11-1, 7-1 in Big Ten) moved up two spots to No. 3 in the latest edition of the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) rankings, while Illinois (9-3, 6-2) and Wisconsin (9-3, 5-3) also continued to climb the BCS standings.

The Buckeyes did not play last weekend after clinching their third straight Big Ten Championship on Nov. 17 but still moved from fifth to third in the latest BCS poll, thanks to losses by each of the top two teams in the Nov. 18 rankings. OSU now trails only No. 1 Missouri and No. 2 West Virginia with one regular season game remaining for each of those schools. The Fighting Illini and Badgers also continued to climb the BCS rankings, with Illinois jumping two spots from 17th to 15th and Wisconsin rising three slots from 21st to 18th.

The final BCS rankings will be announced on Sunday, Dec. 2 during a special prime time BCS Selection Show at approximately 8 p.m. ET on FOX. The teams ranked No. 1 and 2 in the final BCS standings will participate in the BCS National Championship Game to be played on Jan. 7, 2008 in New Orleans, La.
