DISCOVER SUGAR BOWL: Clemson 40, Ohio State 35 - Clemson's players lobbed oranges at their delirious fans, while coach Dabo Swinney lobbed a not-so-subtle jab at the Tigers' in-state rival. RECAP


ROSE BOWL: Michigan State 24, Stanford 20 - Connor Cook passed for a career-high 332 yards and hit Tony Lippett with a tiebreaking 25-yard touchdown pass early in the fourth quarter, leading No. 4 Michigan State to a 24-20 victory over No. 5 Stanford on Wednesday night in the 100th Rose Bowl. TAXSLAYER.COM GATOR BOWL: Nebraska 24, Georgia 19 - Tommy Armstrong Jr. connected with Quincy Enunwa for two touchdowns, including a 99-yarder in the third quarter, and Nebraska held on to beat No. 23 Georgia 24-19 in the rain-soaked Gator Bowl on Wednesday. RECAP

CAPITAL ONE BOWL: South Carolina 34, Wisconsin 24 - Connor Shaw was responsible for five touchdowns, including three passing, and No. 8 South Carolina outlasted No. 19 Wisconsin 34-24 in the Capital One Bowl on Wednesday. RECAP

OUTBACK BOWL: LSU 21, Iowa 14 - Jeremy Hill rushed for 216 yards and two touchdowns, helping No. 14 LSU and inexperienced quarterback Anthony Jennings hold off Iowa 21-14 in the Outback Bowl on Wednesday. RECAP

BUFFALO WILD WINGS BOWL:   Kansas State 31, MICHIGAN 14 - Shane Morris looked at ease in his first career start, calmly leading Michigan on two scoring drives to open the game. The Wolverines had to settle for field goals, though, and never were able to catch up against Kansas State. RECAP



TEXAS BOWL:  Syracuse 21, MINNESOTA 17 - Minnesota coach Jerry Kill wanted to do something to spark his team in the second half of the Texas Bowl against Syracuse on Friday night.  So he decided to coach from the sideline for the first time since Sept. 28.  His tactic worked and the Golden Gophers rallied from an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit to take a three-point lead. But the magic soon wore off and Syracuse came back late for the 21-17 win.  RECAP
