Stanford 20, Wisconsin 14: After building a 14-point lead, No. 7 Stanford withstood a furious comeback by No. 25 Wisconsin and managed to pull out a 20-14 victory on Tuesday at Rose Bowl. Stepfan Taylor carried the offensive load for the Cardinal, piling up 88 rushing yards and one touchdown on 20 attempts.

Northwestern 34, Mississippi State 20: Behind huge interceptions early and late, No. 21 Northwestern beat Mississippi State 34-20 in the Gator Bowl on Tuesday and snapped the game's longest postseason losing streak. The Wildcats (10-3) won their first bowl game since 1949, snapping a nine-game funk that was tied for the longest in NCAA history.

South Carolina 33, Michigan 28: Connor Shaw threw for 224 yards and two touchdowns, leading No. 10 South Carolina to a 33-28 victory over No. 22 Michigan on Tuesday at Raymond James Stadium. Jeremy Gallon was a bright spot for the Wolverines, hauling in nine catches for 145 receiving yards in a losing effort.

Georgia 45, Nebraska 31: Rex Burkhead carried the load for No. 18 Nebraska, finishing with 138 rushing yards and one touchdown, but the Cornhuskers came out on the losing end of a 45-31 game against No. 5 Georgia on Tuesday at the Capital One Bowl.

Oklahoma State 58, Purdue 14: Clint Chelf threw three of Oklahoma State's five touchdown passes and the Cowboys shook off a disappointing Big 12 finish by dominating Purdue 58-14 in the Heart of Dallas Bowl on Tuesday.

Michigan State 17, TCU 16: A Dan Conroy field goal with 1:01 remaining in the fourth quarter capped a Michigan State second half comeback to give the Spartans a 17-16 win over TCU in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl.

Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas
Texas Tech 34, Minnesota 31: D.J. Johnson returned an interception 39 yards and Ryan Bustin made a 28-yard field goal as time expired to give Texas Tech a 34-31 comeback victory over Minnesota on Friday night in the Meineke Car Care Bowl. Seth Doege found Eric Ward on a short pass, and he outran a defender for a 35-yard scoring play to tie it at 31 with just more than a minute remaining.
