- Defeated Michigan's Brett McIntosh (5 & 4) in the quarterfinal round to help Illinois to a 4-0-1 win over the Wolverines
- Earned 4 & 3 victories against Ohio State's Tee-K Kelly and Michigan State's Dan Ellis in the semifinal and championship rounds, respectively, helping the Illini to 5-0-0 triumphs over the Buckeyes and Spartans
- Won or halved 38 of the 44 holes he played in the tournament
- Earns his first Big Ten weekly award
