Big Ten Golf Set to Tee Off This Weekend

To officially start the 2008 Big Ten men's golf campaign, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio State travel south to Florida to open their seasons. 

 

The Illini start the season on Saturday facing in-state rival Illinois State at the Tinervin Cup in Placid, Fla.  The Buckeyes will tee off on Saturday as well against Florida Atlantic and Iowa State in Orlando, Fla.  The No. 19 Hoosiers will journey to Point Vedra, Fla., to participate in the John Hayt Collegiate Invitational hosted by North Florida.  The rest of the conference teams will begin play in the upcoming weeks all culminating with the Big Ten Championships on April 25, hosted by Michigan State.
